Like 2,000 years ago, Caesar enslave the Celtic people. 4,000 years ago the Jews were enslaved by the Egyptians. Nobody talks about the real savage stuff! A lot of people have been taught that 40,000 years ago Homosapien killed off the Neanderthals and Darwin's natural selection decided. That's not true! Neanderthals were beasts! A man gets between a bear and her cub and real quickly they learn who's the king of the forest. Well, a Neandethal held out his hand saying hold my beer and whipped the shit out of that bear with his bear hands. Crushed a homosapien with a single blow, then took his woman and did a whole lot of... Dancing, ya, that's what we're calling it. The neanderthal women lost value and the groups of Neanderthals slimmed down to all men who got their rocks off with homosapien women while they ate her husband. The Neanderthals' killed the human population to extinction levels and that's how we get the genetic traits we have today. Some estimates put the human population as low as 50 people. Regardless, the homosapiens crossed back into Africa and repopulated while neanderthals got messed up. Super packs of neanderthals with no women killed off small tribes that had women, but they didn't have enough women and they didn't value them anyway, so the population of neanderthals dropped sharply and died out within a generation or two. You don't know nothing about slavery until you are on the menu.

So there were many attempts throughout civilizations and generations to end slavery. If you want to go to the original attempts to end slavery, this would fall squarely on God. If a person has no flesh desires, love of things in this world they have not a need to have slaves. To take care of what? When there's no land, no family, no upkeep, nor filler activities, hobbies, indulgence, not even to procreate. God desires that men not live by the flesh, or or the things in this world. The Bible is what inspired the West to combat slavery. Unfortunately, people have enslaved themselves to this, as if anymore honorable than those who've fought and sacrificed to end slavery already. None more than God, it is because as many Prophets came to know, that God is altogether lovely. Who was the first to end the slavery of mankind, 😊, God.

We got rid of slavery because it was immoral. Same with Jim Crow. Same with shooting buffalo from trains. But in 100 years our descendants will wonder how we could be so cruel as to kill our unborn. We're not so evolved as we think we are.

You don't get it because of ignorance, the white slave trade went on for centuries longer than the black slave trade. The slavic people are named after such disgusting trade to North Africa and the aribs. We are all humans regardless of the colour of your skin. We are all God's children. Thank for casting light on these facts. We are still enslaved to tyrannical systems

Old time religion hilarious. Rick (the singer with the violin) is a great singer, his raspy voice, even though they were stoned they were still great. Check out more from The Last Waltz, especially Rick singing It makes no difference. Robbie came up with Nazareth, because he looked at his guitar, and it was made in Nazareth Pa. He then wrote the song based on a movie by a Spanish director Luis Bunel (not sure about spelling) about the impossibility of sainthood.

The first time I heard their music was in the soundtrack of a video game and I've been enthralled ever since. We have the same problem in Hispanic America, we've been tought that Spniards were the worse of the European mistreating the natives and regarding slavery, but it was all an exaggerated dark propaganda from the northern Europe countries against Spain and , even though is true that there were groups of supremacists and ethnophobic abusive people, they weren't enough to reppresent the majority of the Spaniards who were ordered by their Queen to teach christianity but to respect the indigenous peoples and turn them into spanish citizens. I even got emotional when I found out that Spaniards legalized the marriage between Spaniards subjects and those of any different ethnicity and it was as early as in the 1500's, where as in USA it was as late as 1960's or so (which says a lot about the way spaniards saw and treated the ethnical groups vs the way the anglos and other non Hispanics did, regardles of wnding slavery a bit earlier. Our hispanic american genepool is proof that the spaniards wanted mixing, assimilation and creation of a new Spain rather than annihilation, hence why, even in Puerto Rico where we were told the spaniards made the Taino Indians go extinc, many have taino genes over the 20%s and about 60% of maternal/mitochondrial DNA is taino as well. That's why latin American natives are many and free, not on reservations unlike in USA and Canada. Spaniards knew how it was to be invaded many times by other countries and mixed with other ethnicities so they had an open mind regarding the expantion of their Empire and also thought better to have like a delegate to rule from each of the places where they settled which made those places virreynatos instead of colonies.... exactly, Spain never had colonies, only like pseudoprovinces in transition. There are many things tought about the spaniards that are not true and many more that are not tought and should've been tought, guess is strategy to make the pseudo colonized people feel ashamed of being hispanic and therefore have them feel needy and dependant on a supposedly savior 🤔 So, from now on when someone says, that house looks like a colonial style house, I'll have to let them know is actually, just a european style house😂 and when they argue that african descendants dont have last names because those are the last names given to them by their owners, I'll have to say , that at least in the case of Spaniards, they do own their last names for actually being the owner's descendants and as such they wwere given inheritance as well, somthing I didn't know either.

Chattel slavery, where children are sold away from parents, was not as common. Indentured servitude did not last for generations. The ban on the importation of slaves stopped people from working their slaves to death. It was common before that. When slavery became a racial identity, it became a permanent status. Your children would be slaves because of race. Social mobility is impossible when slavery is race-based. All slaves were not equal.

They take it that way because using slavery as emotional/political leverage is a power move. Some use it as a manipulative tool, and others either leave that mentality behind or stay wrapped up in it because they know their friends and family will disown them if they do not agree with the current status quo. The people at the "top" are using the concept of race to manipulate all of America and parents need to step up to be the BEST educators of their children against the lies & rhetoric / distorted truths that the gov/school system perpetuates about this subject. America (our Constitution) is great, our government (multi term politicians) is poisoning the well being of the citizenry.

You have such a wonderful sweet, kind, loving heart. Human trafficking, human slavery is still going on around the world, abusing people from all cultures. The only day this will change is when Jesus comes back. The book of Revelation is the last book of the Bible and it clearly speaks to that day that Jesus returns. I encourage every human to get a Bible and begin to read it seriously from the first book Genesis and readslowly and methodically, seriously. And with intention to learn exactly what has happened, what is happening now and what is to come. Shalom 🙏🏼😊💕

I think he has a point but I think he takes it too far. There is current systemic oppression. There is generational trauma. If we want to live up to our ideals then we need to take steps as a society to fix it whether we csuse it on not. But - lets just all promise to take care of eachother, all of us. There are definitely still racist white people. But yeah everyone can be racist. It's human nature. And its dangerous to pretend otherwise.

The word slave is derived from Slavic (slavic-slav-slave). In the roman empire they would take slaves from many places they waged wars. Women typically ended up being sold as sex slaves or, if they were lucky, house servants. In that era slaves were blonde, if they weren't naturally blonde they were forced to dye their hair. Women being shamed would also be forced to dye their hair blonde as a symbol of their loss in status. This only changed when Roman women started to get jealous (in some instances by the sex slaves their men frequented) and started to dye their hair. This resulted in a trend of blonde hair becoming popular. In WW2 the japanese would capture women they deemed inferior and force them to become comfort women. Many white people comming to the US, especially among the Irish, were told they had to work off the debt they owed coming into the country and were forced into various forms of servitude. They were also looked down on by many as being less than human brutes/animals. One political cartoon had an large ape in a cage with a little hat on. The caption was Irish animals, watch out they bite. Slavery exists even now. Human trafficking happens every day, especially in communities where people are poor and looking for ways to fred their families and abused kids.

It’s very sad to me how shocked black people seem to hear this. in the United States individual black people claim black pride, but in the cities you kill your neighbors, other people who look just like you. It’s not out there because it doesn’t divide and that’s the true goal. Fractures of people so we can’t stand together.

  • @jennifersmith8166

The schools don’t teach it to keep us divided here in America and the fact that the sex slave market is so lucrative they don’t want to lose their money and slaves in other countries. There’s a reason there are so many children that go missing and are never found. It’s the reason my father told me to fight if anyone ever laid hands on me because I would be better off dead than surviving what they would do to me as a blonde haired, blue eyed, white girl.
